What you will learn

FAMACHA and body condition

On the Breeding tab, you can score each animal from one to five for FAMACHA or body condition, and see the last score next time.

Inspection (keuring)

For an inspection, or keuring, type the class or grade each animal was given, the points if you have them, and the inspector. The latest class shows on the animal.

DNA parentage

Keep the result of a parentage test. Confirmed, excluded, or waiting, with the parent tested and the laboratory.

The inbreeding check

When you join ewes with a ram, any ewe that is closely related to him is marked with how related they are. 6.3 percent is like cousins. 12.5 percent is like half siblings. 25 percent is like a full brother and sister. Open Pedigree on any animal to see its own figure. This only counts relatives you have recorded.

My farm details

In Setup, fill in My farm details: your name, address, phone, and the identification mark registered for your farm. It is used on printed sale documents.

Print a sale document

To print a sale document, go to Animals, tap Select several, tick the animals, and tap Print sale document. You get a printable list of the animals leaving, with the buyer, where they are going, the driver, and every animal's IDs. Print it or save it as a PDF. It is your own record. It is not the official police Stock Removal Certificate, so use the official forms wherever the law requires them.
