What the App Does: Sheep Vaccine and Treatment Reminders

Learn how the EkBoer app works out which vaccines, treatments and farm jobs are due on your sheep farm, and for which animals. This first video explains the basic idea: add your animals once, open Today every day, and tap Done. It also shows how rules drive every reminder, and that you can change or add your own.

Welcome. In this video, you will learn what the app does and how it works. The app works out which vaccines, treatments and farm jobs are due, and for which animals.

Tell it about your animals once

An ID for each animal
The date you bought it, or its birth date
Then open Today every day
Do the jobs and tap Done

You tell the app about your animals once. All it needs is an ID, and the date you bought the animal, or its birth date. After that, you open the Today screen every day. It shows the jobs that are due. Do the job, then tap the green Done button.

Reminders come from rules

A rule says what is due and when
Example: give Blu-Vax every year on 1 August, and again 4 weeks later
You can see, change and add rules yourself

The reminders come from rules. A rule says, for example, give Blu-Vax every year on the first of August, and again four weeks later. You can see all your rules under Setup. You can change them, and you can add your own. The next videos show you how.
