Lambing and breeding records for sheep, without the paperwork

Record what happens in the flock as it happens, and let the app show how the flock is performing: how many ewes lambed, how many lambs were born and weaned, and which ewes did not lamb.

What you can record

Results you can use

For a mating season the app shows ewes joined, the percentage in lamb at scanning, lambs born and weaned per 100 ewes joined, the average weaning weight, kilograms of lamb weaned per ewe joined, and the list of ewes with no lamb. That list is where culling decisions start.

When the ram stays in all year

Many flocks have no breeding season. Switch on “Ram stays in all year” in Setup. Tasks that are timed from a lambing date are paused or repeat every 12 months, scanning can record the weeks to lambing, and the results show the last 12 months: lambs born and weaned per 100 ewes, days between lambings, slow breeders and ewes with no lamb in 12 months. Nothing is deleted when you switch, and you can switch back.

Questions farmers ask

Can I use it if the ram runs with the ewes all year?

Yes. Choose “Ram stays in all year” in Setup. Seasonal tasks pause or repeat from each animal’s last dose, and results are shown for the last 12 months.

Does it calculate lambing and weaning percentages?

Yes. It shows lambs born and lambs weaned per 100 ewes, the average weaning weight and the ewes that did not lamb.

Can I add lambs quickly during lambing?

Yes. Recording a lambing creates the lambs for you, linked to the ewe, with the birth date, sex and sire.
