A pig farm app that remembers for you

What you can do with pigs today
- Herd records. Sows, gilts, boars, piglets and growers, each with an ID, birth or buying date, breed, group, mother and sire. Bring your list in from Excel or CSV.
- A pig list of reminders. More than 40 ready-to-tick items in groups: vaccines, parasites, breeding and farrowing, piglets, growers, boars and biosecurity. Tick what you need and change the timing. It names no product and gives no dose, so check with your vet and the product label.
- Piglet jobs counted from birth. Iron, castration, creep feed and weaning at the ages you choose, and growers weighed at the weeks you choose.
- Sow jobs counted from her own dates. Vaccines before farrowing, the move to the farrowing house, pregnancy checks after service and heat checks after weaning are counted from each sow’s recorded service and farrowing dates. Boars’ jobs repeat from the last time you logged them.
- Biosecurity. A monthly reminder to check fences, gates and wash points, with a note that African swine fever and foot-and-mouth disease are controlled diseases.
- Service and farrowing records. Record a service or AI, pregnancy checks (the due date is the service plus 114 days), and each farrowing: born alive, stillborn and mummified. The litter is kept as one record, so its jobs show on Today.
- Weaning litters. Record how many piglets were weaned and their average weight; the litter becomes a grower group.
- Results for the sow herd. Over 12 months: litters per sow, born alive and weaned per litter, piglets weaned per sow, losses before weaning, days between farrowings and the sows with no litter.
- Stud tables. Every litter with born alive, stillborn, mummified and weaned, the results of each sow and boar, a litter list to copy from, pedigrees and registration numbers.
